VOKOLO trail 2027
VOKOLO TRAIL is an 18 km trail race around Brno Reservoir. Expect forest roads, narrow trails, climbs, stairs and technical sections. The course takes you through Veverská Bítýška and past Veveří Castle, offering a proper trail-running challenge in beautiful natural surroundings. Want to run as a team? Try the Steamboat Relay 2 × 9 km – one runner runs while the other takes the steamboat to the relay exchange.

A beautiful, varied trail through natural terrain on both sides of the Brno Reservoir. Expect moderately challenging sections, elevation, and stunning views of the water, the footbridge and Veveří Castle. A proper 18 km from Sokolské koupaliště, past Veveří Castle to Veverská Bítýška and back.
There are three aid stations and a timing checkpoint along the course. And if you can handle 18 km on the trails, you can confidently line up at the start of any city half marathon.

2x9 kmDescription
A relay race for two runners – men’s, women’s or mixed teams. Split the 18 km course into two equal parts and enjoy the unique opportunity to take a steamship to the relay handover and back!
One runner runs the first half of the course, while the other takes the steamship to the handover point in Veverská Bítýška. There, they swap places and the second runner sets off for their 9 km.
The steamship provides refreshments, toilets and a gear drop-off for both relay participants.
If you can handle 9 km in spring, you can keep training and take on VOKOLO PRIGLU (14.1 km) in autumn.
Limited capacity: 200 steamship relay teams.

Expect a well-organised trail race, a beautiful course through nature on the outskirts of Brno and a friendly atmosphere. You’ll take a steamboat to the start, with 4 aid stations along the course, a finisher’s medal and soup waiting for you at the finish. A proper trail race with everything you need for a great day out.
